The T- 28 Canopy was just great. It took several hours to paint the pilot and interior but I wanted it to look nice. I used auto black trim tape 3/16 for the front of the canopy lines this gave me perfect lines and used Krylon white paint for the white trim on the canopy. However before I painted the white I dipped the canopy in Pledge Future floor finish then hung it up to dry for a couple of hours, this protects the canopy from scratches, locks the trim in place and gives the canopy a great shine. I painted the front of the instrument panel gray and had a set of flight and engine instrument (metal) that were the perfect size which I glued to the instrument panel and that sure set it off.
I would like to thank you for having this available at such a reasonable price. It was fun to do and will be the talk of the indoor flying group that I fly with in Springfield, MO
Looking forward to doing my P-51, I am sure it will look great.
